I'm Almost Back! Sorry... ;)

So much has been happening... haven't got round to updating (plus I'm going to be out of internet contact for another 3 days =o(  )

I have some good PTC news though... =o)  It seems like so many of the sites that have fallen victim to DoS and DDoS attacks have been able to come back and have invested in suitable protection! Good on them! Others are trying to find, I guess, cheaper alternative ways to protect their sites. 10Bux has said it will be back up again soon. I'll be glad if it does as it was a good earner for me (and others). Bux.to is of course, making BIG steps in the right direction with its building and installation of new high-speed servers, including 24/7 protection. It will be so good when they install the new script and really get into gear with payments.

AdverCash has been sold and will continue to pay out! :) The new owner is looking at the script and making some fixes. There are lots of Ads and these are working well. Previously, well recently anyway, a lot of Ads didn't load properly and had to be re-clicked, so much so that it was easier to pass them by and wait for another day. Now, however, it all seems to be going smoothly. I wonder what other changes there will be at AdverCash? The new owner seems pretty keen to do more with the site so things are looking up! :)

I've been paid by several PTC's in the last few days... Yay! :)  Sorry, I don't have time to give the exact details, but these ones have been good! :) ThinkBux: 2 Payments! (There are heaps of Ads popping up, a real bonanza-check throughout the day/night if you can... all of a sudden there can be masses of Ads!) GaborBux (My first payment!); Yet another BlueBayPTR :D ; also another, reliable, little payment from GlobalCashClicks (another site that's great for advertising on.)

Btw, thanks for your comment GravitronRing, I really appreciate it! =D You are right about NeoBux! The owner is really active and moves quickly to address any issues, listens to members and is willing to experiment to reach a happy balance of a sustainable site that benefits both owner and members! Requested Another Payment From BlueBay...

Hi Again!

I requested another payment from BlueBayPTR (USD3.00). I really like it! =o)  I had neglected it for so long, only occasionally clicking, but now I realise it's actually a pretty nice Little Earner! ;) And payments are fast...  

I've found the best way to use BlueBayPTR is to bookmark the "New Inbox" and keep checking it throughout the DAY (GMT time). There are heaps of ads =o)  I open them in tabs and then check them once I've cleared the list. I try to click one of the search links on them to be fair to the ones advertising. I then close the windows systematically and refresh the "New Inbox" page. Usually there are more ads. I check every now and then for more throughout the day! :)

It's also quite cheap to advertise there!

AdverCash is back online again after a 20 hour DOS attack...

ThinkBux & NeoBux Today!

I've had 3 good things happen in PTC-Land today! :)

First, I requested and almost IMMEDIATELY received another payment (USD5.60) from ThinkBux! (I'm really impressed with this site, so much so I purchased another 10 referrals yesterday!) I've received a total of USD15.65 from ThinkBux)

Second, I rented 30 referrals from NeoBux!  Anyone who is a Golden Member knows how difficult this is... If you are yet to join, or if you are already a member, rent any referrals you would like BEFORE you upgrade. Once you are a Golden upgrade it is difficult to rent refs. Please note, the upgrade is worth it though if you have referrals! :)

Thirdly, I requested and received an instant payment from NeoBux too (USD9.27 making it a total of USD30.79)

Bux.to is going well. This weekend engineers are working on the wiring and setting up the cabinet for the new servers. Around Wednesday Bux.to should have received all the hardware ordered and will have a better idea of the time frame involved.  

Many other sites seem to be down due to DoS/DDoS attacks... =o(

Today, a long-term agreement was signed for a private complex rack set up. The private cluster has already been designed. Bux.to will be an Enterprise Category client which means they will get specialised treatment if and when issues arise. ThePlanet have entire teams soley dedicated to Enterprise clients, looking after Bux.to's servers 24/7 and making sure everything runs smoothly.

Bux.to's new network has been set up to handle attacks easily and prevent major disruption.

It must be costing a fortune, but it's good to see that Bux.to has the confidence to invest in something that will ensure Bux.to's immediate future. Stick with Bux.to, they have always tried to do the right thing by everyone even in the face of huge obstacles. Other PTC's would have long packed up and gone home... not that they are/were necessarily scams, it's just that the problems faced by some of these PTC's take a lot of ingenuity, know-how, resources and of course, patience to sort out. ;)

Once the MOVE has happened and things calm down a little the backlog of payments will be resolved. Hopefully things will be so much better!  Can't wait... but will have to... patiently!  ;)

Great day today for payments! :D  I just received an email saying that AdverCash has sent my USD12.40 ($12.50 - .10c admin fee) to my AlertPay account.

Wow! Another USD5.00 requested and received today from ThinkBux. Highly Recommended!

Poor Bux.to is having a bad time. It's been hit by hackers, a DDoS attack. Fortunately, Bux.to is sorting things out. Unfortunately, they have had to ban NEW users from The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (what a mouthful! ;) ) where the attacks must have originated from. Hopefully they will allow new users from there again when all this gets sorted out.

Other PTC's, like NeoBux have had the same thing happen. Just recently there have been heaps of PTC's inaccessible. I still can't log into some of them.

It seems that some hackers have been trying to extort money from PTC's by threatening (and carrying out) Distributed Denial of Service attacks if payment is refused. Bux.to has at least traced these attacks and has hired an International Lawyer specialising in Internet Crime to pursue the perpetrators. They are also putting in measures to minimise damage.

Fortunately, with these types of attacks, NO DATA IS LOST... it just means the "bad guys" try to paralyse computer networks by sending huge amounts of data simultaneously from many individual computers... THAT'S WHY Bux.to and other sites have been inaccessible. It's all pretty mean-spirited and causes a lot of havoc and headaches.

So, keep trying the sites, especially Bux.to, they WILL come back, but expect some ups and downs as they get things sorted.  Bux.to is moving to new servers as well, so hopefully there will be added protection when they do.

NeoBux down for a while... MyLot

I joined MyLot a couple of years ago but wasn't active until just recently. Anyone else tried it?

NeoBux has moved to new servers. It's experiencing quite a few problems, it's very hard to access. I guess this will continue for a while until it's all ironed out... Hopefully, when it's fully functioning again it'll  be "lightning fast" as promised! :)

Yay! I received payments from LinkGrand (USD5.10) and BlueBayPTR (USD3.00) both within 24 hours of the requests... IMPRESSIVE! This is the first time I've requested from either! I'll pay a little more attention to them from now on. =o)

Bux.to is s-l-o-w-l-y but surely getting through its payments backlog. AlertPay had a problem for several days and was holding up Bux.to and other companies. Once again, apologies were made and things are going more smoothly.

Hi Again!

I received the 100 Referrals I ordered on the 29th! FAST SERVICE considering all the work being done by Bux.to's Staff at the moment! :)

And quite amazing too, when you think of the enormous number of new referrals that are needed to satisfy the number being purchased by very happy members right now! :) Amazing that they don't run out, for a while, at least! They did a while ago, and had to delay and close referral purchases for a short time to build up supplies!

Received Cash From BuxCard Today!

It works!!!  :D 

The first time I have used Bux.to's Payoneer MasterCard BuxCard! :D 

When I used the ATM, I didn't have the choices Payoneer said I would have i.e.

Credit Card, Debit Card, Savings, Current, Checking.

You are supposed to choose: Current or Checking as the account to withdraw money from.

I only had Cheque, Savings and Credit Card as options. I chose SAVINGS and everything went through fine! :)  This applies for AUSTRALIA, maybe it's different in your country?!?!?

I took out $340 (Oz Dollars) and am left with AUD4.70 on the Card. 

I was hoping I could add the card to my PayPal account, but it only allows me to use an account which has Australian Dollars in it. Unfortunately, the BuxCard is in USD and converts to whichever country's funds are being used at the time of transaction. So, it's not possible with PayPal at least. I've asked for information from AlertPay to see if it can be done with them.

I'm really happy anyway! It's all good! :D

I also cashed out another USD.52c from 12Bux :)

AND I've joined BuxHot which seems to be quite a fast earner! :)
